Meet Jordana, an accomplished marketing professional with a passion for helping businesses thrive. With her diverse background and expertise, she is a valuable asset to any team.
Jordana’s journey began at Lighthouse Festival Theatre, where she excelled as a development officer. Her remarkable marketing skills and ability to build meaningful relationships enabled her to secure sponsorships, forge partnerships, and secure vital donations, all in support of professional live theatre. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the theatre’s 2020 season, Jordana fearlessly adapted her talents to assist local businesses in navigating the unprecedented challenges they faced.
Prior to her role at the theatre, she spent nearly two years as a sales representative at local radio station 98.9 myFM. During this time, she honed her skills in client relations and sales strategies. Her six-year tenure at Pattison Outdoor Advertising further expanded her expertise as she efficiently coordinated traffic for a variety of advertising platforms, from static billboards to transit and digital displays, across Ontario and the Maritimes. Additionally, she gained valuable experience in print media at Transcontinental Media in Halifax and worked at the agency level for Extreme Group in Toronto. Over the past three years, she has successfully assisted several Norfolk area clients, including Norfolk County, Apple Hill Lavendar, Whistling Gardens, Lion’s Law Firm, Townsend Butchers and more! Recently she has also embraced the role of Fractional CMO. A Fractional CMO provides marketing expertise to companies on a part time basis to develop and execute strategies to drive growth, increase brand awareness and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
Education has always been a priority for Jordana. Armed with a BSc in Psychology, a Post Graduate Certification in Advertising Management, and a Digital Marketing Certification from York, she possesses a well-rounded understanding of consumer behaviour and effective marketing techniques. Jordana’s commitment to ongoing growth is evident through her completion of continuing education courses in statistics, project management, communications, conversational Spanish, and digital illustration. Her comprehensive knowledge extends to the CRTC’s Canadian Code of Advertising Standards and the intricacies of contesting and promotions. From identifying target audiences and crafting engaging messaging to executing successful promotions, Jordana’s expertise makes her the perfect ally in building your brand.
Beyond the professional realm, Jordana is an active individual with a zest for life. She finds solace in cycling along the scenic Lynn Valley trail and indulges her green thumb through gardening. Photography serves as both a creative outlet and a means of capturing memorable moments. In her downtime, Jordana cherishes the company of her beloved house rabbit, Stanley, an adorable Holland Lop bunny, and enjoys spending quality time with her father, Stephen. A true community enthusiast, she has volunteered with local organizations such as the Norfolk Rotary Club and WHAM (Waterford Heritage & Agricultural Museum). Furthermore, Jordana proudly fulfilled her civic duty by serving on a jury in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court for a duration of two weeks.
Jordana’s multifaceted background, unwavering dedication, and genuine passion for her craft make her an exceptional partner in your journey to success. Whether you seek to strengthen your brand, navigate challenging times, or capture the hearts of your target audience, Jordana’s expertise and commitment to excellence are unparalleled.
